This beautiful farmhouse and adorable cottages are set on a sprawling hilltop with a private pond nestled in the heart of the Round Top. Take in the country chic interiors, or step out on the covered porch to have cocktails al fresco in wooden rocking chairs. Sometimes deer can be seen scampering about at sunrise and sunset, while Texas wildflowers surround the property in the springtime.

Please note that the Antique Weeks is three weeks long and twice a year in the Spring and Fall.  Lots of incredible shopping begins two weeks before the opening of Marburger and the Big Red Barn. We recommend booking at least 1 year in advance for the Antique Weeks because we fill up quickly. Our property is a prime location for antiquing visitors because of the convenience to return easily for a mid-day shopping break and recharge.

Testimonials

This Old Porch is a beautiful house with a pair of similar bedrooms with private baths, individually air-conditioned, a shared kitchen at the back, and the fantastic porch across the front. It worked beautifully for us as two couples. We loved cooking together and eating and relaxing on the porch. Chic country style with a mix of antiques and contemporary touches. It has a great porch swing under the oak, cows and horses in the adjacent pastures, a bay tree and a magnolia by the porch,  and lots of lawn. Very convenient to Round Top, Festival Hill, and Winedale. I want to retire here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We shopped all day and returned in the evening to enjoy al fresco dining and cocktails. The location is perfect, no traffic and could still hear the music from town in the background. We’re already talking about another trip in the future for other shows.
